Formulation of the Institutional Archives Plan - PINAR
Senior management in public and private entities that perform public functions, from their strategic role, carry out planning, review and improvement activities to achieve efficiency and effectiveness, and in turn meet the objectives and goals set in strategic planning; This is reflected in the design and execution of the Institutional Strategic Plan and the Annual Action Plan. In view of this, the archival function of the entity should not be the exception and for this, senior management should have a tool that allows it to identify and follow the plans, programs and projects of said function, associated and articulated with the Plans in mention.
Taking into account the above, to guide entities on the development of the archival function, Decree 2609 of 2012 establishes in Article 8 "Archival Instruments" the Institutional Archives Plan - PINAR, which is an instrument that will allow planning, monitor and articulate the archival function with strategic plans according to needs, weaknesses, risks and opportunities. Based on this, the General Archive of the Nation in the development of Law 594 of 2000, Law 1712 of 2014 and Decree 2609 of 2012, formulates the Manual Institutional Archives Plan - PINAR, as a simple methodology for the elaboration of this within the entities, whose purposes are:
